Step 1
Open the front guard and remove the assembly.

Remove the cartridge tank and remove the batteries.
Step 3
Pull out the ignition knob and unscrew 2 screws at the front of the heater.

Remove the panel, pull down.
Step 5
Unscrew the 3 body screws.
Step 6
Carefully lift off the body.
Step 7
Remove the screw.
Step 8
Lift off the igniter.
Step 9
Separate the wing cover into 2 pieces. Caution: The edge is very sharp.
Step 10
Unscrew 4 wing nuts and remove the wick holder assembly.
Step 11
Remove the gasket.
Step 12
Put back the Ignition knob.
Step 13
Press down the Ignition level and remove 2 pints. Caution: Very Sharp.
Step 14
Remove the wick holder.
Step 15
Remove the wick from the wick holder by pushing.
Step 16
Set the new wick to the wick holder (Mesh => right side). Adjust black line to the wick holder.
Step 17
Reinstall the wick holder to body. Round form.
Step 18
Press down the Ignition lever and tighten 2 pins.
Step 19
Place the rubber gasket on the body and install the assembly and tighten 4 wing nuts.
Step 20
Set the wick once to the HIGH position. Push, LOW and HIGH.
Step 21
Check the wick height. ½” (13mm).
Step 22
Equal gap all around.
Step 23
Reinstall the wind cover.
Step 24
Reinstall the igniter. Tighten the screw.
Step 25
Reinstall the body. Tighten 3 screws.
Step 26
Reinstall the panel. Tighten 2 screws.
Step 27
Install 4 batteries and slide back the cartridge tank filled with 1K-Kerosene.
Step 28
Reinstall the chimney assembly and close the front guard. Reinstall the ignition knob. Wait at least 45 minutes for kerosene to fully saturate the new wick.
